President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni officiated at the International Youth Day celebrations at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
He urged the youth to engage in the 4 sectors of the economy (commercial agriculture, industries, services, & ICT). The NRM has been very deliberate about wealth creation through these sectors.
“Youth leaders be should be clear. Stop being polite to fellow youth who are not working, wake them up. Stop wasting your time and engage in production to be able to live purposeful lives. The government is committed to putting more funds to fight poverty through programs, ” the President said.
