AAYC يطلق تمرين بناء القدرات المدرسية في المدارس الابتدائية.

The Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC) has launched a school capacity-building outreach program aimed at strengthening both primary and secondary schools in Uganda. On June 12th, the AAYC team visited Cornerstone Community School Busulu in Luwero district to promote peace, self-preservation, and self-discipline among the pupils. The event saw participation from over 700 pupils, ranging from Primary One to Primary Seven. The school’s director, Mr. Ntege Aloysius, and the Principal, Ms. Nanziri Viola, warmly welcomed the AAYC team. They expressed their gratitude to the organization for including primary schools in the program, emphasizing that such initiatives are crucial for nurturing a better future generation. During the event, AAYC representatives highlighted that peace is the foundation for any thriving community, urging students to practice empathy, respect, and understanding in their daily interactions. On the topic of self-preservation, the speakers underscored the value of maintaining one’s well-being, both physically and mentally, encouraging students to make healthy choices and stay informed about personal safety. Regarding self-discipline, the AAYC team emphasized the significance of setting goals, being patient and maintaining focus. The teachers appreciated for the AAYC’s efforts, noting that these programs are essential for developing well-rounded and responsible individuals. The director, Mr. Ntege Aloysius, added that he looks forward to more such collaborations in the future.
