- Dialogue that shall highlight the need for youth involvement in food security through innovations for planetary health. This is intended to bring out intellectual, policy and practical discourse for eventual policy adjustments by the concerned agencies.
The youth are greatly discouraged to invest in agriculture and more so there are no measures yet successfully taken to motivate the youth to also consider agriculture as a means of earning great livelihood. In most cases the youth view agriculture as one for the peasants and also failures which is not the case. AAYC in partnership with RUFORUM wants to bring a brighter version of youth who are engaged in agriculture and the costs and benefits of agriculture. The Youth Practical discourse will elaborate their journey and success so far registered and ways of starting up small urban yards for those who lack land and also introduction of new technologies in agriculture which has made it so easy and much yielding.
