The Secretary General Hon Agaba Abbas, Deputy Secretary General, Miss Amina Hilmi, along with the AAYC team, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, where they were warmly received by the Second Prime Minister of Busoga Kingdom, Osman Noor Ahmed.
During the meeting, Honorable Agaba Abbas provided insights into the AAYC’s preparations for its 20th Anniversary. He also expressed the organization’s deep appreciation for the significant contributions made by His Royal Highness to society, particularly in the realm of youth empowerment.
In response, His Royal Highness expressed gratitude for the visit and commended the Afro-Arab Youth Council for their notable efforts in supporting the youth. He encouraged collaboration between the AAYC and the kingdom to promote and preserve culture, as well as to enhance cultural identity.
His Royal Highness, recognizing the positive impact of the AAYC’s work, expressed openness to future collaboration and requested the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the partnership between the AAYC and the Busoga Kingdom.
