The situation in Sudan is of great concern to the Afro Arab Youth Council. The country has been facing a protracted conflict that has resulted in countless deaths, displacement, and suffering. We urge all parties involved to exercise restraint and engage in peaceful dialogue to find a lasting solution to the crisis.
We call upon the African Union, Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and other regional organisations to exercise their mandate and prevail over the warring parties to stop the killing of innocent civilians.
