AAYC International Delegates Tour to the Busoowoko Falls as an attempt to promote the tourism sector in the region.

The best recognised location on Lake Victoria in Jinja District is at the Source of the Nile,  Africa’s longest river and the symbol of life for all the countries it travels through before reaching Egypt.

In Uganda Murchison Falls is the biggest waterfall. However, there are several others (14 waterfalls in Uganda) and Busoowoko Falls is one of them. There is something unique and majestic about being around the foamy watery edifices plunging down the rocks. Busoowoko Falls is in Bususwa/ Bukongo village, Kitanaba Sub-county after Namavundu Forest, 19km off Jinja city.

Let us say Busoowoko falls is a downstream of Bujagali dam and flows profusely.it is one of the last waterfalls remaining on the upper Victoria Nile, others have disappeared under its backed-up waters. The stones have algae, which makes them slippery and risky. The views provide marvelous pictures!
